A call to courage

When courage calls it’s easy to think of her as moments where big leaps of faith are being asked of you.

Courage often requires you to be big, bold, and to move forward dragging your fear behind.

Courageous people are often seen as those who risk it all in pursuit of their dreams.

The expression of courage is usually seen as these bold acts, this makes it easy to forget the tremendous subtle daily acts of courage.

The everyday moments in which fears are faced and action is taken.

Yes, courage’s call is often loud, however, sometimes she’s also a gentle whisper or an undeniable knowing which comes from deep within you.

She is the subtle voice inside that dares you to dream.
That feeling of your dreams calling you,

which you might only experience for a split second.

A simple undeniable knowing from one moment in time.

But she is always there with you.

Courage’s call can be the strength to allow yourself to be seen when you want to run away.

It’s your ability to keep your heart open after she’s been broken.

Courage is often the strength to lean toward when it would be easier to run away.

Courage can be the strength it takes to let go of what isn’t serving you when holding on would be easier.

In a world where you are consistently told you should be x y + z the most courageous act is to stand in your full authenticity, declaring this is me just as I am.

Courage allows you to move through your trauma, release your fears and consistently follow the knowing of your heart.

For it is much easier to stay where you are in the know of the familiar than to move bravely into the unknown future.

Courage calls you to release and let go of patterns of being which are no longer serving you.

To sit in your discomfort knowing it is the only way is through. She calls you to release and let go.

So my love where is courage calling you?

Is she yelling loudly, gently whispering in your ear or subtly nudging you forward?

Whether that be releasing what isn’t serving you

Moving forward with fear in toe

Taking those big bold leaps

Keeping your heart open

Or simply having the courage to say no

Allow courages call to guide you
